Zoom in on all the right moments in your life with the vintage Fujica AX-3 camera. Originally produced in the mid-1980s, it continues to be a favorite of professional photographers. The AX-3 uses actual film, so you get more warmth and depth than you would with digital cameras. Mobile cameras offer some great advantages, but they cannot compete with the beautiful images produced on real film. Instead of the older M42 mount used on their SLR cameras, it has an X-mount for more versatility. This Fujifilm model is equipped with a powerful lens to ensure excellent photographs. Its specs include an f/1.9 aperture with metering and a 50mm single lens reflex with a focal plane shutter. The quality meter ensures that images do not appear over or under exposed.As the user manuals show, there are many excellent features included with the AX-3. It has an electronically controlled self-timer that goes off with an audible chime after 12 seconds. This allows you to include snaps of yourself in the images you take. It also features a rewind crank and supports manual loading of 35mm film. The powerful light of the flash ensures excellent images even in darkened areas. AX-3s are still in great working condition in modern times because they are so durable. The screen is made of strong ground glass to ensure longevity. Because they are compact and lightweight, you can easily carry the camera around on the go without accidentally breaking it. A easily replaceable battery powers the shutter speed, LEDs, and flash. The viewfinder offers an LED shutter speed indicator, multiple exposure settings, and sensitive overexposure and underexposure warnings. This camera is compatible with various Fujica accessories that include things such as tripods, bags, and other types of lenses. The AX-3 is a great addition to a Fujica collection if you already enjoy the Fuji FinePix digital camera. Aside from the 43-75mm lenses that come with the camera, the Fujica X mount takes many different Fujinon X lenses. For example, you could use a telelens to zoom in on distant subjects. In addition to expanded zoom options, you may also change your photo with one of the many compatible Fuji filters.To enhance your photography skills in challenging conditions, the camera has both an automatic and manual mode. Adjust flash, exposure, and zoom yourself, or just enjoy taking pictures and let the camera automatically manage them. The auto controls keep you from missing any good shots while you adjust the settings. If you want a more controlled type of experience, you are able to manually adjust everything. Excellent experience. Product was used but was in extremely good shape. Not even a blemish. The only thing that went wrong, which was NOT the fault of the seller was UPS damaged the knobs on the speaker during shipping. The seller offered a discount, but I refused that because it wasn't his fault. Maybe a little more packaging would have stopped that damage, but considering the item, I don't know that it would have. Overall great experience.

    Great old camera for excellent price.

    I found originally bought this camera simply because it looked nice. Simple as that. But when I got it I was blown away. It was lighter than my other 35mm cameras and the lens was really sharp. With built in matrix metering I just couldn't believe the value. There are two minor problems with the camera though. Since it is an older camera it uses 4LR44 batteries which are hard to find. I had to order them from an overseas supplier. I have also found it difficult to find the lenses for the camera (mine was purchased with the 50mm f/1.6 so that was nice). Other than those two relatively minor problems it is a fun camera to shoot, light and compact, and delivers nice photo quality. If you can find one for a reasonable price I would highly recommend making the purchase.

    Fujica AX-3 A well developed camera that performs. X-Funinon are great lenses, if you can find them!!!

    The Fujica AX-3 was the end of the line for 35mm film cameras from Fuji in the 80s. They were well thought out, robust in features, light weight, compact, everything the serious consumer film enthusiasts would want. The lens lineup was quality, many applied with Fuji’s fine EBC lens coating process. but not too many were made due to ramping down productions. The transition from m42 to X-mount bayonet was just too hard for everyone to jump on board. Get these cameras if you can find them with lenses, and you won’t be disappointed.

    Great camera! One problem though

    I love this camera, it shoots just fine! The only issue I have is there are certain light streaks in my film photos and there isn't much of a light seal kit for this camera; very hard to find. I'll still be shooting with it though!

    Buena camara para un aprendiz.

    Excelente cámara y el servicio rápido y sin contratiempo. Mi hija la estado usando para su clase de fotografía y aunque tuvo un contratiempo por una filtración de luz en la ventanilla trasera de la cámara por donde se ve la cantidad de fotos tomadas logramos corregirla. Para el precio que pagamos, creemos que fue una excelente inversión.
