    "Murder and Mayhem on Midsomer Murders"

    My husband and I love the Midsomer Murders series. The entire cast is excellent! The story plot always keep us guessing, "who is the murderer and who is the next victim or victims." It is also enjoyable to see the English countryside and the quaint towns. If you like murder mysteries and haven't watched a Midsomer I would recommend watching one on PBS. We are hooked so we are starting a library of Midsomer DVDs.

    Midsomer Murderers - Good any time of year :) Addicting :)

    Amazing show, my granddaughter and I are in different locations but with the DVDs at her location and "Britbox" at mine, we started with Season 1 Episode 1 "The killings at Badger's Drift" we start the show the same time and chat about the characters, plot. I've obviously seen the shows many times, Out of the entire 20+ years series there maybe on or two that I haven't wanted to see again. Think the line of "May I suggest five degrees to the left." is about our favorite line. The full series will be stored at our cabin and watched in those snow-filled Colorado winter nights :) for many years by our family members. This review is for Set 6, but we have them all.

    Midsomer Murders is great

    This is a great mystery series if you like beautiful British landscapes (there are always people riding English saddles on horses), red herrings (there's even a show this concept is based on), and a couple of detectives who are intelligent, and even happy, blokes. After watching a lot of British detective shows, it's refreshing to see a main character who is happily married and not an alcoholic. It's fun to see his wife and daughter interact with him in the shows. Bring on more Midsomer Murders!

    British mystery

    I began to watch Midsomer Murders several years ago. It is shown on TV once a week and I as a mystery lover was hooked. The stories have recurring characters, whose lives are interesting. The murders, mostly happening in the sleepy town of Midsomer, are most intriguing and the time flies by. I would definitely recommend Midsomer Murders to mystery lovers. Purchasing the set allows me to catch up on the stories I might never see on TV, enjoy them more than once as well as share with friends.
