About this product

Product Information

Columns is an action puzzle game that has you manipulating groups of three connected jewels in order to create matches horizontally, diagonally, or vertically. Each match of three or more will remove the colorful gems from the playing field, as additional columns fall from the top of the screen. Create combo chains to improve your high score and advance to more challenging, faster-paced levels. In addition to the main play mode, where you attempt to clear jewels for as long as possible before the columns eventually block the top of the screen, a "Flash Columns" option is included that involves solving puzzles by removing a flashing jewel before time expires. Columns features both solo and head-to-head play against a friend. Multiple difficulty settings and starting levels are included for a custom challenge.

    Good puzzle game

Colums is a good puzzle on yhe sega genesis. Graphics are good for a 16-bit game. The games difficulty is be spot on. A good choice if you are looking for a fun game to play.

  • Fun !

This is exactly what I was looking for! It is for both one and two players, and is a lot of fun to play! You can scramble the colors around to try to make the matching sets. and of course it start speeding up after a bit of time. Fun!

  • The title is as said. You make columns.

I truly like this game.It is for a kids game, very challenging, and very addictive. The challange is tring to match the colored blocks,so that you don't get to the top.as you match the colored blocks, that row disappears, and more blocks come down, and as you go,the blocks come down faster, theres the challenge, you must keep up. I bought this game for two reasons.#1 being I bought the Sega system at a sale.I have never had a sega.My kids have all been Nintendo,or what ever.It had one game with it. # 2 I like puzzle games. This one sounded interesting.I've played Tetris, and Dr.Mario, and Kirby's Avalanche. This game sounded very close to that. Thats why I purchased it. I'am very glad I did,I have found it to be fun. I would recommend this game. Its challanging, its fun,and its easy to figure out how to ...

  • Columns for Sega Genesis

Columns, is as most of you know, a Tetris type game where you have to move objects into place, match colors to clear those objects out of the way so more can fall . . . and the higher the level, the faster they fall. Maybe you can keep the board clear enough to keep going, but--chances are, you won't! I myself haven't played the game. I bought it for my husband who absolutely loves it. Keeps him happy for hours. He does like Tetris, but I believe that Columns is his favorite. I'm not sure why . . . but, probably, it's the fast paced action as he climbs levels. I got him Blockade, as well, but as far as I know, he hasn't played that yet. I'll see if I can get him to give it a go, so I can review it, too, and give his thoughts on it compared to Columns ...
