Had a 6 gallon. About 6 years old back in the early 2000s. Rusted out and started leaking. Replaced it with a ten gallon. Made the opening larger but couldn’t fit inside because of the RVs furniture. So I made a 2X2 shim. Slowly not working as well as it used to. Figured 20 years was good enough. Brush my teeth and shave I’d have to let it recover so I could shower with out running out of hot. Now I have to be careful not to scald myself with plenty of hot water to do all. Plenty of hot water to do dishes too. Look inside the anode and heat element holes. 20 years ago I paid $350. This year (December ) 2023 $550. 20ish years of trouble free hot water. I’m happy.

This is a very good rv 10 gallon water heater. And the installation was very easy done I replaced the same size and same gas and electric with exactly what came in my 5th wheel 10 years ago The only thing different was that my old one had the lighting instructions cover mounted on the heater exhaust but it wasn’t a problem I just removed it from my old one and put it on my new one Thank you guys so much. It fixed my water heater problem that was leaking
