Shirley's western with Randolf Scott
I can not say that this movie is a good as her earlier movies, but it is an enjoyable,clean, family movie. It is not a musical, but I think she sings one song in it, and teaches Randolf Scott to dance. Shirley, who is often an orphan in her movies, is the only survivor or a wagon train. She comes to live with the mounties, and becomes very fond or Randolf's Scott's character, even jealous. Trivia- before Randolf Scott appeared in Shirley's Rebecca Of Sunnybrook farm, or Susanna of the Mounties, Shirley had a small part in one of his movies.I can not say that this movie is a good as her earlier movies, but it is an enjoyable,clean, family movie. One of the best Shirley Temple movies. Excellent scenery and a good wholesome plot. Some humor and some good family vaules. Really enjoyed the colorized version. Shirley is cuter than ever.
