The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish it could print 5x7 as well as 4x6. Other than that I'm totally happy and glad I chose this over the Canon model. I read a lot of reviews on both printers before I decided on this one. One person had compared both printers and said the print quality was better on this one, so I took the chance even though I usually think of Canon as being high quality. I found a video on You tube that explained the entire set up process from taking it out of the box to printing the first picture. This was very informative and helped me set up quickly. Within about 20 min I was printing out my first test pictures. Several things I have to note here: 1) I started with the paper and ink supplied with the unit. The paper is a high quality glossy 4x6 Epson paper made specifically for this model. I loved the look, the colors were dead on and matched my monitor and the print is dry right out of the machine. 2) After a few prints I switched to a matte finish paper of lower quality, but so inexpensive I could forgive the slight difference in color and pictures that didn't quite "pop" off the page. I can live with that since I do charity work and will give away many shots, so I need to use less expensive ink and paper. 3) one of the things that threw me off a little was the photo expansion. I looked it up in the manual, but was a little disappointed that it didn't give better specifics about the three settings. It just says "standard" "medium" and "minimum". It comes set to standard, so when one of my pictures came out chopped off a little on the bottom, I grabbed the manual and set it to the next setting. That didn't do much so I set it to minimum and it was close, but some of my pictures will have to be resized to fit in their entirety. 4) The paper and ink that comes with it is 20 pages and a cartridge that is suppose to have enough ink to do those 20 pictures. I hears other reviewers say they ran out of ink before they ran out of paper, but I was able to continue printing at least half a dozen more photos after I got the first prompt to change the cartridge. First it will tell you the ink is getting low. Then it will tell you to replace cartridge before printing your next picture, I ignored that and kept printing. Even when it said it was out of ink I was still able to print one more with no color problems at all. After that a big X appears on the LCD and you cannot print anymore. I even shut it off and started it again to see if I could trick it into resetting and let me print a couple more, but it was done. I haven't tried out the phone to print yet, but I am hoping to be able to print directly from my good camera. I hope this review has helped. Give me a yes if it did!Read full review

I bought this printer for a homemade photo booth I built. I purchased it because I couldn't afford to purchase one of those expensive photo booth printers. Especially since I am not going into a photo booth business. I ordered it because it says that it prints faster than other printers of this type and for a photo booth no one is going to want to wait a minute and a half for their pictures. It works perfectly and can't wait to use my photo booth for the first time at a charity event for Special Olympics. I would recommend this to anyone.
I've had one of these printers for about 10 years, and printed thousands of pictures before it just wore out. Great machine!
