The Fender Phoenix capo will work on both an electric and an acoustic guitars with six strings. It works on steel-stringed acoustic guitars and is spring-loaded, which makes it easy to place on your guitar's neck. The capo is black, and it is made of cast aluminum, meaning that it's not only stylish but sturdy too. It is lightweight at only 0.18 pounds and features thumb and finger grips on each side of the clamp.

    Sadly this Capo fits too tightly on my Gibson acoustic hummingbird. I'm not going to be using it for fear of damage to instrument. Made very well. Will not use.

    This Fender capo is OK...

    It functions fine. However, it fits tightly on my acoustic...doubtful it would fit a 12-string. A little bit better (not quite as snug) on the electric. I think my D’addorio spoiled me 😎
