I am a loyal JBL user and thought I'd expand my horizons and try another top audio company. This speaker is built like a tank. Unfortunately that means heavy and inconvenient to lug around. The sound quality is average. Clear but weak bass. The grill cloth is so heavy it alters the sound. There's a very small sweet spot. I would highly recommend the JBL Flip 5 over this. The Flip 5 is smaller, lighter and sounds much better. The difference in bass quality alone is very noticeable. Buy the Flip 5

This item is listed as NEW but did not come in the manufacturer's box, so I don't think it can be considered NEW. It also didn't include a manual as it said it would in the description. The USB cable included was only a few inches long, so pretty much useless. As for the item quality, the sound is pretty good for a small speaker. However the USB port is very cheap and seems it could easily break. I also haven't been able to get the speaker to connect the Bluetooth when it is plugged in/charging. It would be nice to simultaneously charge it while playing music. Lastly, the LED is either RED or BLUE, so it's hard to know how long you need to wait until it is fully charged. Overall, for the price, I can't complain too much. But I was expecting something better.
