  • Great sounding tiny portable battery powered amp

I bought a micro cube brand new when they first came out. I still use them for practice, small (very small) gigs and lessons. Pros: Versatility - lots of amp tones and effects. Aux in lets you play along with backing tracks. Small, but mighty. Looks like a toy but sounds thick. Runs on a standard "Boss style" 9v center negative adapter or AA batteries. Batteries last a long time. Easy to operate. Cons: The power switch is on the back on the older ones. There is not much EQ control. It may not be loud enough for your needs. No built-in tuner, but does have a "tuning fork" button for a reference pitch.
