    Bought 1 to see how would work. Ended up buying 3 more and recommended to our subdivision for use. Several reasons: You can control who sees the cameras and can add or delete. Very simple to install. You can view anytime. Motion activated and can adjust how often or times you want to be alerted. Easy to email or send copies of footage.

    Mediocre

    These are a great concept especially with the solar panel option. Unfortunately these are no where close to HD nor do they even reach close to a 30ft range. Also there is no night vision without lighting on. Great concept but these need major work. They are also very overpriced, Had they all the features that they claim I would not mind the high price. I believe my next purchase will be from skybell hopefully there products are better quality.

    We've gone "all-in" with Ring

    We first heard of Ring when searching for a doorbell for our new front entry door. Our house is from the late 40's, and doesn't have a hardwired doorbell circuit...so door knockers or something more modern were our only options. Looking at the Ring, with it's on-board battery and wireless connectivity, was a no-brainer. We loved the doorbell and when an incident occurred in our neighborhood with cars being rifled through in the middle of the night, we bought a first and then a second stick-up camera. Where we have this one mounted the sunlight is good enough even in the winter for the solar panel to keep the battery charged...but it's easily accessible via a window, and I can always bring the camera inside to top up the charge if needed.     Night

    So I have to say that I have the ring doorbell pro also and I am actually very disappointed with the stick cam picture quality at night. Basically it's worthless at night if you don't have a really good amount of light near it, which defeats the purpose of having alleged night sensors! So before you buy just know it's terrible at night
