Great device - have used it as soon as it arrived in the post - no issues with price and great service! - I was curious how the parcel went by truck half way around the US, then eventually arrived at a depo in IL, was then a week later posted to Paris in France? !! and the next day arrived in Germany? How the seller and buyer would benefit from this I dont know as surely there would be a quicker and equally cost effective way of sending this in the US system eg nearest airport to Germany?

    Great Player & Features Once Past Setup

    Great player, picture clarity, and easy to use features - after frustrating wireless set up process. I can summarize the manual "Try this, and call your internet service provider if this doesn't work". Well, I didn't (call ISP), because I felt -and still do -that a consumer ready product should be plug and play without a lot of customer fiddling. And the "Oh, well -must be your ISP's router doesn't match our settings" attitude is ridiculous. My "solution"? Wife got tired of my days of fiddling and insisted we watch a DVD. Miraculously, all the wireless features came to life afterward. Works great now. Ignore the instructions (largely), make sure it shows internet- whether or not you can make it load apps, plug in a DVD. Enjoy the movie, then select your apps.

    Scratched up

    The blu-ray works just fine and easy to use, but as it was used, it was all scratched up and didn't look very nice. If I new it'd be scratched up, I should've just spent the extra $20 on a brand new one so it'd look a little better, but otherwise, it's been a good machine

    Works great with the remote, BUT,...

    I generally love this Blu-Ray player. It's compact and has minimal exterior features. The Wi-Fi works great and access to all of the functions with the remote appears easy enough. I had some issues initially understanding the operation of the unit. But, I went online to download the manual, which explained the functions adequately. My only real issue with the player is that it works great with the remote, but, accessing all of the functions without the remote and simply relying on the well-hidden markers on the player itself is challenging at best. Overall, though, great player at a great price.

    Needs some design improvement

    This player has good performance and is fairly quick to bring up the DVD. The drawer is faily quite and fast. My biggest complaint is the location of the controls being on the top near the right front corner. Since I have it in a cabinet with limited lighting is is almost impossible to see the controls. The power button is very sensitive to the touch and I invariably hit it every time I pull it out to see the contol buttons which ends up turning it on or off. Thank goodness for the remote! I have not used the internet capabilities yet so cannot comment. It would have gotten five stars if the control buttons were better located.
