Energy or refinement?
When you think of four women in a string quartet you think of refinement, not of energy. And boy, are you wrong when it comes to BOND. Yes, they have all the refinement of a classic string quartet, just adding the energy of a fighter jet in full afterburner takeoff mode, so much energy it picks you up and carries you with the music. If you think four girls in drab outfits sitting on a stage playing refined, intricate music just isn't your thing, you really, really, really need to see this DVD, to hear the Bond music-- Women, not girls, and strength and power without apology. enjoyWhen you think of four women in a string quartet you think of refinement, not of energy. I purchased this and absolutely everyone who has viewed it with me has bought it for their personal collection. This group gives new meaning to the word "classical." Some of the music they have written themselves and their compositions and presentations are so origional and so well presented. Money very well spent.Absolutely beyond belief.
