Joe Strummer Held Up To The End
Joe Strummer was a kind of a Rockin' & Rollin outlaw to me. A frontman of the Clash with Mick Jones in the past, he went out with his band The mezcaleros on this outing on CD. Also a part time actor in a Jim Jarmusch film called Mystery Train, Joe was a man of many talents. On this Strummer CD, he rocks and Rastas like we knew him from England back in the day. But, Solo with his own band The mezcaleros. Cool World beats come and go on the album. I really like Streetcore produced by Rick Rubin another legend in the studio.
