Wham! Bam! I AM! The best compilation ever by Wham! "Everything She Wants".. will be everything you want from Wham! I had to get this to put on the 80s feel for my studio and postcard shop's 80s mood. And everytime it's on (random), visitors will ask "what is this album?" Cos basically they can't find this album. (I don't know why) Just last week, someone just popped in to take some photos, then out came "Club Tropicana". She was totally happy with the sudden surprise of her long-lost favourite song. The first 3 tracks, Wham Rap, Young Guns, Bad Boys, will surely get the dance floor grooving. And the sounds are perhaps timeless for dancefloor boogie. You won't look "old fashioned" if that's a better phrase. Then the 4th track is Club Tropicana, "the drinks are free". A totally hip dance tune, chill out tune, beach music, and clubbing and wine night out zing. Then wakes you up further with "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go". Everybody knows this song. If you're having a party surely 100% will be dancing or singing along. Well it's a fact: Cool men wants to be like George Michael, to attact even more cool girls (and boys!). So a win-win situation. Careless Whispers then takes you all couples back into the dance floor. "And I'm never gonna dance again.. " who could have forgotten this lyrics? It's virtually imprinted in your mind. Even if you're a youngster (aka not born or partying during Wham's time) you'd have heard this song somewhere sometime on the radio some nights, and you're there zombie-d to the lyrics. Freedom powers up another love anthem powerhouse. I don't want no freeeedom. Even that line is enough to wake up those lazy dancefloor bing bing. Last Christmas, isn't just any Christmas song - but - THE - Christmas song everybody could feel in love with (even though it's with a peculiar sad lyrics!) Everything She Wants and I'm Your Man - moves the beat. This gives a punchy 80's vibe. You'd surely want to tap your two left feet no less. A Different Corner slows it all down. While Battlestations provide a quick reprieve to pump it all up for the final two. Where Did Your Heart Go? This good saxxy song really goes well with Club Tropicana and some good slow dance moves. The final song literally takes you to the Edge of Heaven. Well now you've heard it, you'd probably want to see the music video! (CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF GEORGE MICHAEL PRANCING FOR Edge of Heaven - totally awesomely cool)Read full review
All the hits are on this one. The US version is missing some but this one has it all. It's a great CD!
This was purchased for my daughter's birthday. She loved it. Took her back to when she was a teenager. Thanks for a great CD!
