Lando Clarissian Power Of The Force 2 1995 Kenner Figure
In 1995 when this figure came out it was a premium find selling for up to $30 at comic stores or swap-meets when it came out as part of the second wave of Power Of The Force 2 figures mostly now looked back on with humor for their wrestler like stances with way exaggerated muscles, and oversize weapons that were in most cases just made up and not accurate at all to the movies. But one pro was the early POTF2 figures had a good bio-card on the back as this one does! But now the figure is a steal and can be found cheaper than it sold for at retail way back then. I paid $2 for mine and shipping was $4.50 so that was still .49 cheaper than the $6.99 a cheap off the shelf figure sold for at the time if you were lucky enough to find one at a regular retail store. The then newly re-launched Star ... I know a lot of collectors did not like the Power of the Force series because the characters looked jacked like wrestlers. Loving all things that is Star Wars, I still love this for nostalgic reasons and just because I think they are cool. This particular figure is great! A jacked Lando!! The only way this thing could be better is if they added a Colt 45 and he talked "Well, what do we have here?" All joking aside, great action figure at a great price. Lando Calrissian jacked like a Pro-Wrestler!
This product line gets a bad rap because most of the male figures are ripped like bodybuilders. Although this isn't how they are portrayed in the movie I can't help myself. Who wouldn't want to own them, I love them for the fact that they are different and are very affordable collectable.
