Works great for those who want a real keyboard for their iPad.
Love the perfect fit and profile with the iPad. And the magnetic "clip on" is easy and elegant. In my opinion, better than the new "prop up" models. The only suggestion I would have is to find something better for the white letters on the individual keys, as they water out or wear off after a couple of years. Happy I could still find one of these older versions.

Battery cannot be charged
These units were useful when they were first manufactured about 2013. However, they were designed with a rechargeable battery that cannot be replaced when it reaches the end of its useful life. I have tried to purchase two of these "refurbished" units. They work fine as long as the keyboard is connected to a power source, but they do not work when disconnected. I️ had one of these for my ancient iPad and loved it. So glad they still have them—hard to find. I️ have the one that charges with a plug which, from the sound of it, is what you want—avoid the one with changeable batteries. Very happy. Love the feel of the keyboard.

At less than 1/10 the MSRP it is more than I could ask for. I have gotten 2 of these, the first was taken by a friend because he could not believe how handy it is. Everyone at work thought he got a minicomputer for Christmas. Both units have a very small dent that does not affect the function at all, did not notice this until looking very very hard. This keyboard makes the iPad a more useful item, if that is possible, and has added a new level of protection as well. Wish I had gotten this keyboard when I first got the iPad.
