the binary question of whether this is easy is use would be based on how much experience you have with digital cameras. This is a very complex, and sophisticated camera good for beginners with a lot of patience. It is , for the size and money, VERY oriented towards a semi pro cinematic user. The levels of Codecs and other variables will take time to get to learn. It is also very supported with possibly the largest selection of lenses next to Canon in the Cinemaphotographic / photographic genre.

I like how it is part of the E mount lens system of cameras. There is a learning curve with the usage as each camera brand has different user interfaces but this was also very noob friendly. There are extra programmable buttons for easier and a more customizable operation. Shoots in 4k30. Great image quality and good for a starter videography camera.

This camera is solidly built and has been a delight to use with only a few caveats. The menu system isn't as bad as people claim but it is a little confusing at times, the battery life could be improved and the buffer is just average. Beyond that, this camera exceeds most of my expectations at this price point.

Well let me start by saying I am upgrading from a d5000 that I had for 5 years. I was intimidated at first since I was assuming it was going to be complicated. That wasn't true as I watched some tutorial videos of the a6300. Regardless just turning it on was simple to use if you are familiar with a dslr camera. The camera is simply amazing after you understand some of its features. Fast, smooth, quite, small, light, and a full magnesium weather sealed body. What more do you want!? I am very happy with this camera and recommend it to anyone since any lens can be used as long as you have an adapter. Grab one of these and you will be happy I promise. Only one single downside and that is the battery life; just buy another one and you will be ok. Also having a portable charger with you can help as this camera can charge by connecting it to the USB. Which makes it better over the a6000. Grab the a6300 and you will be happy. Enjoy!! Read full review

To start off..... 4k! Best 4k image on the market even compared to cameras 5x the price since its 6k downsampled to 4K! 120FPS in the cleanest 1080p! 24MP 14bit raw is mind blowing from this little guys and all up to 11FPS ! ( up to 25-30 raw images until slowdown but still whoa!! ) ONLY issue I found so far is when filming weddings on hot sunny days (89F +) camera does overheat after about 29 minutes of continues recording but if you keep it im the shade and swap batteries every 25 min than it lasts for a few hours before you want to place it next to an AC for a few min. For $1k it is perfect even with the downside of overheating for video on hot summer days when 4+ hours needed.
