    Excellent lightweight saw for rugged use.

    These are greats saws for field and shop use. I use them professionally almost everyday for both; working outdoors in habitat restoration, tree pruning, as well as for hobby woodworking. As long as I keep the blade out of the dirt, it holds it's sharpness seemingly forever. Even when a blade gets old and somewhat dull, they still will cut adequately in a pinch. I've had mine for years, and only recently replaced the blades. The large tooth blade makes fast work of limbs and trunks nearly as thick as the blade's length. The fine tooth blade is great for pull cuts in the shop, or outdoors on small limbs. Really light weight, too..great for backpacking and hunting trips. The blades are replaceable..a little pricey, but well worth the cost!

    Beautiful, Cuts Like a Razor

    These are incredible saws. I cannot vouch for this 180mm example as I bought it as a Christmas gift for my brother. But I bought a 130mm version and am using it as planned to do my February crabapple pruning. Awesome saw. One recommendation... depending on your planned usage, it might be wise to purchase extra blades with varying TPI. I bought the 130 for the curved blade (useful in reaching situations) but it came with an 8 TPI blade, too coarse for cutting thumb-diameter apple sucker shoots. Very glad I bought the 20 TPI blade as well.

    Lightweight and fast cutting

    I use this saw to clear trails. And though you can break them, the light weight and size makes it easy to store in a back pocket and easy to access.Plus it cuts fast - really fast. Magically fast. I've broken 2 blades in 4 years of heavy use. But then again, I always abuse the saw by trying to cut trees thicker than 4" - sometimes up to 9"+. I have recommended this saw to friends and bought several as presents! I guess I'm sold.

    Great Saw

    I bought this to replace a Gerber saw that the plastic split. This saw fits in the Gerber case. This saw seems to be much better quality then what I've been using. It should last longer than my other one. The teeth are sharp and will cut better than my old saw too.
