This tripod was basically what I expected. A convenient handy little thing. I did not expect it to be heavy duty and it is not. It is intended for light duty use and will be adequate for a table top tripod for a cell phone or a lightweight digital camera. I could not have built one for the $5 I paid for this. It is a good tripod for the price just don't expect it to be anthing more than what it is. You can pay close to this or more for a cup of coffee which be gone in 15 minutes or so. I would buy another one at this price if I needed it. The important parts of this tripod are made of metal. I bought a different one for $2 which was almost entirely made of plastic. I'd rather have my $2 than the plasic tripod. You make the call.

Tripod is small enough to transport while traveling. adjusting height is even easier and overall it is very easy to use.
I hooked up my camera and it immediately broke. Very disappointing.

OK Mini Tripod

I have been struggling holding my camera with my hand trying to take steady pictures and video.my hand placement always wants to be on the recorder mic and destroys my video sound.this should take care of that problem.great mini tri-pod.
It's tiny, thought it would be slightly bigger. I'm using it only for a mic stand so it's not a problem. The legs are a bit weak, not like snap off weak but the extension is only good for a lightweight camera/recorder. overall, not bad for light weight work.
