    Sercivable but not great

    The mic being built in has one glaring flaw, in that it picks up the noise the machine makes when running. It gets the job done, though, so if you don't mind an extra layer of noise, by all means.

    Did not function well

    While the motors of this player did work, the sound did not play properly. I tested each cassette I had on some working players, and they worked - it is not an issue with the casettes. I brought it to a guy who knows how to fix some older tech, but he was stumped. It’s not worth paying a repair shop to fix due to the machines age unfortunately.

    Good Tape Player/Recorder

    It's hard to find a good tape recorder. This one was the right price and works great. The speaker has good volume and the microphone picks up clear sound without static.
