    Expensive but great device

    This is my first e-reader. Before I was using my iPad but wanted something that is easier on the eyes and has better battery life. The Kindle Oasis has exceeded my expectations. I love the auto-adjusting warm light that this device provides and the seamless integration with purchasing books on Amazon.com. The physical page turn buttons are a nice feature. I give 4 stars because this isn't a great value but that's OK. It's a $220+ eReader so it's not cheap. Would be nice if it came with a case (I had to buy my own) at this price point. Also, I wish the screen scrolling was a little smoother but that is a minor nitpick.

    Exceeds (High) Expectations

    This is a great product. I had high expectations for it. It exceeds my expectations. The battery life is excellent. The ergonomically of the device in your hand is excellent. The screen works under various conditions from harsh light to little late. The E Inc. page displays quickly. This device knocks it out of the park in every category. Highly recommended.

    Kindle Oasis 10th gen. (2019)

    The display is excellent as well as the brightness and the possibility to adjust the color. The overall balance is fantastic (most of the weight is concentrated in the fold of the hand). The two physical buttons and the possibility to read with both hands are the details that make all the difference in a very pleasant reading experience. As less positive aspects I highlight: 1) the capacity of the battery (without cover), at least when compared to that of my previous third generation kindle; 2) slippery (without cover); 3) the scalding metal cover if the kindle (without cover) is left out in the sun. Overall, I am very pleased with the option to upgrade to this 10th generation kindle.

    Great product, battery a dissappointment.......

    Everything great but the battery life, suppose to last 2 weeks. I get about 3 days. Going to do some research, iam a new user and hoping theirs some settings i can use to extend battery life........

    Not as easy to use the buttons as I anticipated

    The Kindle seems to be in new condition, all works well, but it's just not as easy to hold and push the button with one hand as I was hoping.
