When changing settings, just hit the "Q" button to pop up a menu that lets you change a single setting between photographs without affecting the others. With both high-resolution and high dynamic range, this Fujifilm DSLR records all the right details, delivering results that will wow your audience with outstanding image quality. For the detail-oriented shooter, the X-Pro1 body is compatible with five separate kinds of Fujinon lenses, including 14 mm, 18 mm, 35mm, 18-55mm and 60 mm lens, with maximum apertures of either F/1.4 or F/2.8. Lens sensitivities are equivalent to ISO 200 to ISO 6400, depending on the type of Fuji lens and the particular mode used. If the moment is extra-memorable, you can capture video in full high-definition with cinema-like quality and audio that brings you there with its clarity through a built-in stereo microphone. The X-E1 camera offers a high-definition OLED electronic viewfinder (evf), bringing brighter colors and more consistent and broader viewing angles, as well as a full view of the scene. Shoot in autofocus mode, or consult the multi-focal distance finder through the viewfinder to make sure you're in range. To check if you’ve gotten the right shot, you can preview your images on a rear-facing LCD screen. The X-E1 model, with its durable black body, offers the same technical specifications and capabilities as its black and silver counterpart, producing the same outstanding pictures. The leather-like texture of this camera's exterior not only give it an extra dash of style, but it also makes the device easier to grip. Along with the X-E1 camera, Fuji developed significant firmware updates. For example, the time it takes to write images to memory has been cut in half. You can also quickly check your focus and composition mere moments after taking a photo. Auto and manual focus have also been drastically improved. Digital imaging allows for immediate gratification and is a way of shooting pictures until you snag that shot.     Fujifilm X-E1 16.3 MP Camera is excellent !!

    The Fujifilm X-E1 is a camera that takes professional-level photos! It's very well built. The X-E1 has the same high quality image sensor as the Fuji X-Pro1. I needed a camera to use outdoors for landscape and cityscape photography, and chose the X-E1 due to it's image quality and superb OLED type electronic viewfinder with approximately 2.36M dots of resolution - which is higher-resolution than the viewfinder on the Fuji X-Pro1. I use the X-E1 with two prime lenses, the Fujinon XF18mm F2 R lens (which is 27mm in the 35mm format equivalent), and the Fujinon XF 35mm F2 R WR lens (which is 53mm in the 35mm format equivalent) with both providing amazing detail and quick auto-focus precision. I added a fast 80MB/s Class 10 SDHC Memory Card to make data transfer at shooting time quick and ...

    All I can say is...BOI

    When I first got this camera, I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed. After all, my previous pick of the litter was a FinePix so there's a huge upgrade. After a couple of hours of playing around...I became thoroughly shook. I knew as soon as the box arrived that I wouldn't regret dropping five hundred bucks on this puppy. It's durable, solid, a little heavy (which I like) and is absolutely comfortable in the hands. The interchangeable lens feature is genius and I never realized how much I would like it (especially since my last camera kicked the bucket over the lens breaking.) The ability to customize every single detail is outstanding, and the save custom settings feature is even more so. I've never felt so in control...and a girl could get used to it. This feature blows me away ...

    Impressive little wonder from Fuji

    I needed a body to complement my X100 in the wide end and occasionally shoot with some longer lens, too. This camera fits the bill beautifully. The controls and and layout are similar, whole user interface is logical and pretty straightforward at least compared to some other modern digital bodies. So far been using XF 14mm and a Zuiko 24mm with this. The image quality with both is brilliant. Manual focusing with latter is well aided by the focus peak feature which you learn pretty quickly and works in most situations. It slows you down though, which isn't necessarily bad at all. Just some missed shots that you would have gotten with the X100. I shoot RAW but appreciate the high quality JPEGs - they actually save you quite a bit of time in the post. Low light capability of these Fuji's is ...

    Fuji X-E1 Best Value - Satisfaction Guaranteed

    There's something special about the Fuji's interface and tactical exposure settings. I dig using the Q-menu to set up and use the custom settings: C1 - Velvia -1 Color ISO 100 C2 - Black and white ISO 100 C3- Provia ISO 100 ( If skin tones are involved) Working backwards so I remenber ( Overcast Day ) Now I just use top dial shutter speed to adjust exposure C7 - Velvia -1 Color ISO 400 DR = 200 C6 - Black and White ISO 400 DR = 200 C5 - Provia ISO 400 DR = 200 Of Course - I love the SOOC JPEGS

For many the X-E2 will be the preferred choice. The main reason is autofocus and EVF performance are superior in lowlight. As the fujivsfufi website states, "For someone looking to buy a camera to use primarily in decent to good light where they won’t be chasing youngsters around, the X-E1, especially at its discounted price, is an excellent buy. For those of you who are madly in love with the colour rendition of JPEGs in the X-E1, you might want to hold onto what you have and maybe even grab a backup X-E1 while you can.
