    It's an OK unit

    This is not a high end transformer, but it does work and it is compact enough to set up as a check on new (to me) DC engines. It also works well for lighting my layout, with the option of increasing and dimming lights with the motion of the control handle. I have more sophisticated units for actual operations. I keep my system capable of running DC and/or DCC as needed.
