Product Information

As its name implies, Dragon Ball: Origins returns the series to its role-playing roots and offers gamers a more light-hearted affair than many of franchise's latter-day titles. Players guide young versions of Goku and Bulma as they travel through a vast landscape looking for the seven Dragon Balls. Players can use Goku's special power pole to solve puzzles, cross rivers, break rocks, and protect Bulma from attacks, while Bulma helps the duo by inventing clever machines and weapons. The game makes full use of the DS' capabilities, letting players use the touch screen and stylus to direct Goku and guide him in combat. Gamers can upgrade both characters by finding "heart pieces" that increase health and defeating enemies to acquire "skill orbs." Players also have the opportunity to join in the Martial Arts World Tournament, where they will come across familiar characters from other Dragon Ball games, including Master Roshi, Yamcha, Ox King, and Chi Chi.

For a regular ds game, that's not Nintendo brand, works well with the touch screen. The graphics and characters look a lot like the show, which is cool. Also much more lengthier than I was expected so should pass the time nicely.

A Dragonball game that works!
Well the first thing that made me want this game was a local trip to a Gamestop. I didn't even know this game was made, and i happened to see it on the shelf. Well once I got home i did a little research on it and to my shock it was rated very high and you get to play as young Goku so that was a huge selling point. At that point i purchased it, and in 10 minutes I was hooked on it. You actually play alongside Gohma. Great game if you love DBZ but if you hate useing the stylus to play stay away otherwize a good game easy to master and lots of things to collect and trade with other players overal a 8 out of 10

Really fun to play... easy to get use to..... You got to read to get far in the game, but just like zelda games, it's fun to see what happens after you complete levels. 10 out of 10... Great for kids that know about dragonball.
