Great with a fan upgrade!!
This is a nice fan set up for large scale motors. I purchased 2 of these for my losi dbxle and super baja rey truck. The stock fans are decent but not great so I upgraded both to 40mm yeah racing fans and now it's a terrific high powered fan. If you plan on buying this I would definitely upgrade the fans as well. YouTube has a video showing how it's done, not hard at all.

I really got the fan just for the body. I took the fans that it comes with out and put some wild turbo fans in it. The fans that come with it work but they are not as good as some others others out there. The size of the fan fits my TP Power 5660 motor and that’s what I needed.

Keeps xmaxx stock motor and heatsink much cooler.
How can one fan be so much better than another? Got this to replace my motor fans on the 8s xmaxx. It is not a direct fit. You have to cut some things down and strap it in with zip ties. My expectations were not great as it was not made for my heatsink, however i went out on an 89 degree day where my xmaxx would usually go into limp mode about 10 minutes in. The link app would show the motor well over 200 degrees. But i ran the heck out of it in the heat and the motor temp never got over 175.
