Decent, yet sometimes annoying
Sometimes the silent button falls out of the switch on the case, so you have to take it off and correctly place it again. You have to pull a tab out to get to your headphone and charging port, and that can easily be frayed by your nails if you aren't careful. Also, headphones get bent at a slightly awkward angle due to the tab pushing on them. It also collects quite a bit of dust in the tab and camera area. Using a coin is the fastest way to get the case off, it is also the suggested way. The white case gets extremely dirty very quickly, so constant wiping and care will be needed (if you purchase that one). Otherwise, the phone is protected from drops and also from water for a short period. Test the case and read all instructions before dunking your phone directly into water. Built in ... not what i expected
the Otterbox perserver case was nothing what it was advertised. The plastic cover makes it very difficult to use the touch screen. The side mute button does not even make contact with the button on the phone. Ive had other otter back cover an was happy with them. The case is back in it orignal box because its not real functional thank you

Great case this is my third one each one lasting a year or more. However this one works with the 5s but is not for the 5s. This case has the hard home button which does not allow the use of the 5s finger print password like my last two did

This advertisement promises an Otterbox Preserver Series Waterproof Case Apple iPhone 5/5s/SE in Carbon Black. In fact, I was mailed a case that was only for 5/5s. My phone is an SE. The phone fit in case, but the port used to charge the phone is covered. The only way to charge the phone is to take off the cover.
