    My experience after 2 uses

    Chose this hand-powered mower due to it's wide cut of 20". Came with bag which works best when moving fairly fast with mower. Otherwise, the grass clippings land back in the blades or on the blade guard in front of the bag. If you are getting this mower for a quieter experience, that's somewhat true without an engine. However, the sounds of the metal grinding together is close to the same noise level of a gas powered mower, so I still wore sound protection. Easy enough to pull around, taking a bit more effort in tall grass. Tall weeds won't cut because of being toppled over before hitting blade which is understandable. Clean the blade guard & spinner each time to prolong its' life. Overall pleased so far.

    Full feature blast from the past.

    Despite the fact that I did not remember the noise made by a reel mower, it is easier to push than I remember. This will allow me to still mow my lawn, when the grass is thick or damp, and I can't use our electric mower. I don't remember if the one I used in my youth was adjustable, but I love the fact that this one is. I don't know if I will ever use the catcher attachment, but it is nice to have, if I have the need.

    I purchased the DuroStar Lawn Mower as a housewarming gift for my daughter who just purchased her first home. She needed a mower and I thought this was the perfect gift to mow her lawn until she can get the kind she wants. She loved it and she said it helps her to exercise and use body strength instead of the motorized ones.
