Ordered a total of 5 posters from this great seller. The seller put together a custom listing for me and had them all shipped neatly together. They came in a triangular priority tube mailer and then lots of bubble wrap was inside. After that opening the tube the posters were wrapped in paper. And small pieces of paper towel were also added on the ends for further padding. I’ve bought from this seller before and will definitely buy from them again.

  • William Shakespeare's Star Wars by Ian Doescher (2013, Hardcover)

I enjoyed the dramatic way Star Wars is done in play form and the wonderful illustrations throughout. I really enjoyed reading this. This book covers Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in a very Shakespearean format. The book is broken down into Acts and Scenes. Each line is prefaced by who is speaking it (just like in a play). There is a Chorus that covers action scenes too. The whole thing is written in very Shakespeare like language. The book is also interspersed with some wonderful drawings of our heros in their Shakespeare-modified gear. The language is very Shakespearean, but I still found it easy to read. I absolutely love reading Shakespeare and love the way it sounds. As with all Shakespeare it is best if read out loud, or at least out loud in your head. The banter between Han ...

  • Wonderful fun! The Bard would approve.

This was a delightful book. Being a Star Wars fan and having to read much Shakespeare, this was a delightful blend of the two. I have had my student's read out passages aloud in class as a warm up to reading Shakespeare. I wonderful changeover for introducing contemporary into classic.

  • At first, I found the dialect very entertaining and funny! When that wore off, I found it a very intriging and compelling read!

  • A must for anyone who loves Star Wars or Shakespeare or both!

A perfect blend of Shakespearian literary technique with contemporary sci-fi. I can't put it down and I can't stop laughing. I love it!
