This movie was pretty good. It wasn't an exact copy of the anime series or the movie, but I didn't expect a live action movie could hold up to the original. Still, it's got an even mix of both, so that keeps it entertaining and fairly true to the arc the fans love about the Major and Section 9. Some things have been changed around and it does feel a little off, but overall I enjoyed it. The actors were great, costuming and makeup were spot on and it had a compelling storyline. Visually Stunning
I was always a big fan of Ghost in the Shell having seen all of them. I was very excited to see a live action version. When Scarlett Johansson, I wasn't upset by the 'white washing of the character' as the character always looked more western than Asian in the original. What I was upset by was completely re-writing her history for the sake of a story line and not a very original story line.
