Item came from Walmart packaged in a plastic bag. At least there was tape all around the package to secure it. I had ordered another one previously from Walmart.com and it came in the same plastic bag without the tape, needlessly to saw it ripped right through the bag and was missing several of the feet. Promptly returned it to the store for a refund. It's too bad these chairs are not available for purchase in store because they are shipped so poorly.
