Store Passwords Cheap
This device is old, but it has a nice use! Don't store multiple passwords on a laptop or a cell phone... it can get lost and then someone has access to all of them! This device will allow you to store anything, but is great for passwords. You can put a master one on it and then put your passwords for all those websites inside. It takes a memory stick and you can back up to that card. The card, of course, will need to be in a safe place. It is easy to wipe the memory if you find the need. Hold Power, Then press Reset at same time, then let go of reset and keep power down for 5 more seconds and release. Now select erase all. This will quickly wipe your passwords before you give this away or something. Good LuckThis device is old, but it has a nice use! Possibly The Best Grayscale Clie
The big advantage to the S360 was the reflective screen. Though sometimes a bit dim in low light, it used very little power and was visible in almost any lighting condition. If ambient was too dim, just turn on the backlight. In some rare "in-between" situations neither setup quite works right but it's mostly good. It weighs very little and has one of the best ergonomic setups Sony ever put in a PDA. Curiously, the font rendering seems better on the older 160x160 screen than on many later versions. And, you know, it's cheap cheap cheap. What's not to like? If you're mostly reading text and want a good fit in your hand that runs a looooong time on a single charge, this is for you.The big advantage to the S360 was the reflective screen. Very Well Made
I have had this unit for about 4 years and it is a rock solid monochrome PDA. Seems to have complete compatibility with Palm OS. I had a Palm V before this and the build quality of that model was not impressive. This is a rugged little unit with great rechargeable battery life, good screen, great backlighting. For those that do not need bells and whistles of color screens and wireless access, etc, this is a great alternative to the Palm V and serves me perfectly as a traveling sales guy.I have had this unit for about 4 years and it is a rock solid monochrome PDA. Good value for the price.
The Clie seems to be a user-friendly device and works very well. I'm not used to the "graffiti" option (i.e. drawing on the pad instead of typing each word in with the stylus), so many of my letters didn't translate well until you get the hang of it. Overall, a nice little helper.
