I had watched every epsidoe of the show when it was on a few years ago. This DVD was good, but I was a litle dissapointed with some of the selections they used. I preffered many of the other performances that were not put on. Susie did a great job on Boheimian Rhapsody on the one they have on the DVD, but her encore performace was even better. (you can see it on YouTube) I think they id not pick the better performances by Jordis Unga, though her voice does not fir the styles they had her sing, she would be great for R&B. The first song on the DVD is by the winner J.D Fortune (California Dreaming), and I do not care for it at all.(then again, I do not think he should have won) It is a good DVD though, Susie, Mig, and Marty are worth buying this. A must have for any INXS fan,there were some really great performers in this competition,one being Jordus.JD Fortune really shines out in this,he so so confident that hes going to win this right from the very beginning thats hes the one to watch,he comfortable,cool,laid back a really likeable kind of guy who really pulls of all them really grat INXS songs from way back win! What could have been a dumb indulgent show, turned out to be a homage to why & what we love about Rock n' Roll. Mega talent provided many powerful moments. My boys of 7 & 9 years became huge fans & now know some classic Rock. This DVD has many performances that you will play over & over. I only would have liked a more extensive set to be provided. Wish you were here.
