Book I- looks like someone ate spaghetti or pizza the entire tine they were reading it. Second book was filthy. Binder bookholder was damaged, looked like someone used a box cutter and cut an entire side
Packing box was wrong shape or contents, but the item was forced in with box not able to be closed for safe hadling.
All in all, awful. Threw it right in the trash.
I have seen the movie or movies and the book. I am halfway through it the first book and it is so much better. The author does a great job of painting a picture in creating a compelling story. It’s very good.
I love this series, I had it previously and one of the books was water damaged and well here we are me purchasing them to read again. It is a riveting

I have already read the first of the trilogy and am half way through the second and love them so far. I love the hard covers too. Highly recommend, especially when they are sold at such a great price.
