It's an excellent steamer, easy to use. Too bad this product is discontinued. I use the included rice bowl to steam white rice regularly, and the result (for 1:1 ratio) has always been consistent--not too dry, not too wet, just right. The rice does not stick to the bowl at all and it makes cleaning like a breeze--unlike other rice cookers with aluminum bowls. I don't use it to steam vegetables or meat, however, and therefore the reviewing is only for steaming rice.

This is my go-to appliance for cooking potatoes. Keeps them moist and cooked evenly through. You just set the timer and forget about it. It won't burn like an oven and won't dry out like a microwave.
