Dropped original lens. A bit pricey, though less that new fan light. Fits in frame, more transparent that original.

What can you say about a glass lens (and I mean heavy glass that shatters when it hits the floor when trying to replace the bulb. Not as easy as you might think) that needs replacement in a fan/light that'sbeen discontinued? Except maybe that it was very expensive and unless you want to change the whole fixture, you have to bite the bullet and buy it.....

Manufacturer stopped making these, so was glad to find this new OEM part. A little pricey, understandably. Installed yesterday, looking better than new.

The questions ask stupid things because a lens cannot make noise or is powerful. It fit the plastic frame perfectly.

PLASTIC IS BETTER THAN GLASS, NOT SO HEAVY, LESSER CHANCE TO BREAK INSTALLED PERFECTLY HAD TO SWITCH TO A LED LIGHT, WHICH I FEEL GIVES OFF BETER LIGHT PLUS COST SAVINGS OVER TIME THIS PLASTIC LENS IS NOT AS EXPENSIVE AS THE GLASS REPLACEMENTS
