The helmet is of the style of an early 17th century European cuirassier’s helmet used by many heavy cavalry units. My guess is that this piece is unlikely to be a 19th century Victorian copy made for the “grand tour” trade of the “gilded age.” Such pieces are antiques in their own right. I believe that it was manufactured by hand in India, and is probably a well made piece. For the price, I’m willing to take a chance.

22 days for delivery. I have USA only on search but got overseas somehow. India! Very polite but using shipper with no tracking once inside USA customs. Box had weird smell but item as described. Seller was good at all replies that I left them. Boxed very good with bubble wrap. Over all good seller but you will wait a few weeks for item.
