Awesome 4 the price.
Speakers are working out good for me.Had them for about 3 weeks,no problems.I read other reviews be4 buying,but have not had any problems with them.Set up is easy and sound quality is great 4 the price.If you need speaker and don't want to invest alot of money into them give them a try.

i bought this product cause i wanted a bass to watch movies on my laptop. i liked it so well and so did everyone who used them that i had to order a couple of them for my friends.

New, easy installation, no issues
The HP 2.1 speaker system was new and worked immediately upon installation. No issues at all.

volume is very low at max setting
The speakers' sound is weak at best. I had them full volume and the sound was only about normal. The bass is weak. If you need a small set of speakers in a tight spot in a very quiet spot they might be good but the sound quality is poor in my opinion.

Good design, Poor sound quality.
The speaker design was the reason I bought them, having the volume up front was a plus. But the quality of the sound and the crackling from both (L&R) smaller units made me go out and buy a better surround sound system that gives me the sound I want. I would not recommend these to someone that was looking for quality sound.
