Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) is a happily married family man. Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) is a smooth-talking bachelor. Both are cops in the narcotics division of the Miami police department. When $100 million dollars worth of seized heroin is stolen from their police station, the mismatched duo are forced to switch identities to placate the only witness (Tea Leoni) who can lead them to the drug lord responsible and save their jobs before the FBI closes them down. This explosion-heavy, chase-filled, gun-smoking action comedy is directed by Michael Bay (ARMAGEDDON, PEARL HARBOR) and features comedic odd-couple-style bantering between the aptly paired Smith and Lawrence.

    Explosive!! Smith and Lawrence a comedic FORCE!

    I bought this movie because I already had Bad Boys II on DVD, and the OCD in me won't let me own one part of a set without owning ALL parts of the set! Having said that... Bad Boys is a hilarious and dramatic ride into Miami's drug world. It has very good action and explosions (as one would expect from Michael Bay, director of Transformers, The Rock and Armageddon, to name a few) and the story isn't horrible. It's a fun way to kill some time and since I wore out my VHS copy of this, I thought I'd go digital. It's a fun ride! Enjoy!

    Great action/comedy, great cast

    This movie is vile, vulgar, and full of violence and explosions. It's got a strong language factor and tons of innuendo and that's why I love it. It's a good old fashioned Action/Comedy. It was one of my favorite movies growing up and if you haven't seen it it's a must buy... don't waste 5 bucks renting it, it's definitely a must buy. Tons of action, laughs, and car chases make this an action film for the ages. Final Verdict: 5/5 Rent or Buy?: A must buy!

    Bad Boys, Good cops

    We bought this movie on a referral from a friend who said we'd like it. We did. We enjoy police movies where there is no doubt as to who the bad guys are and we like to see them taken down, HARD!! The story line was okay and the action was good. The two principal actors were funny together. We've enjoyed Martin Lawrence ever since we saw him in 'Nothing To Lose' Wendy Allen & Sylvia Copp
