    The bass that stands out from other Hofners.

    The bass is super thin and light, it almost seems fragile, but it’s not. The dash pots roll on and off smoothly giving it the Hofner sound I’ve been looking for, and the neck is super fast and comfortable. The down sides are : A floating bridge, so make sure to mark the bass of the bridge if you change all strings together. The bridge string height adjustment effects all stings, not the individual strings that most bass bridges permit. Similarly with the individual string width (spacing). Lastly, although it might be just me, but I cannot tell how one adjusts the pick up height. Needless to there isn’t no information on the Hofner site. Still all-in-all, I believe this is an excellent instrument.

    Fun bass

    This bass is just a lot of fun. I have several instruments but this one is very unique. The tone sounds like an old record. I put Pyramid flat wounds on it to double down on the old school sound. Glad I grabbed it.

    VIntage Vibe

    I am enjoying the bass. I started playing it right out of the box. I assumed I would play it for a few days, then have it set up. But after playing it for a while, it may not even need a set-up. Glad I found it.
