    Hex on both bolt & nut, no chainring nut wrench needed.

    I like that these are hex on both sides (6mm one side, 5mm on the other) No fiddling around with those flimsy chainring nut wrenches. I use these when I convert Shimano FC-M785 2x cranksets to 1x when using a 32t single chainring. Placing the spacer between the chainring and the arms keeps the chain from coming in contact with the tips of the spiders arms and gives you a 49mm chainline. Works great for larger 1x chainrings too if a 49mm chainline is desired.

    Chainring bolts

    I bought these bolts to replace the standard chain ring bolts on my bicycle because i was adding a chain guard. These are too short to work for that purpose. It is difficult to know because not enough information is given in the item description.

    2 allens are better than one

    The aluminium ones cant be torqued down enough to not creak on big efforts. The metal is too weak and the special tool needed is sloppy at best. These should be the standard, they work as crank bolts should and they are easier to work with. Well made.
