Wonderful harddrive
I was looking for 1 2 TB hard drive that is shock proof and reasonably priced and I found this one to the best match. It wasnt easy also to find shockproof HD Its quality made and not noisy at all. Installs easily on win 10 and you can transfer rates of upto 120 Mb/s from my experience.

Simple. Tough looking. But cheap inside.
I've owned a few of these transcend drives. Outter hard case is duravje, but the USB ports on them are NOT. they are poorly soldered and tend to fail gradually For my last purchase, it nearly cost me 1.2TB of data. Warranty is useless at times like these. Right now I'd rather buy a more reliable generic enclosure and make my own external portable drive. No more transcend drives for me.

It just WORKS!
I've had a 1 TB version of this for at least 5 years, and use it as a primary local backup for several computers. Never a problem, out of sight, out of mind, it just works flawlessly, which is why I got this 2 TB version for myself and my wife when we are traveling.
