Good unit to run your synths through
Seems to be solid and to work well. It has eight stereo inputs. I had some noise coming through, but used a direct box on the input and now it is fine. There is actually three outputs for this, as there is an aux send. Great buy - excellent performer across the board...
I own several of these handy little mixers for several reasons. Countless times, I've encountered pre-amplifiers in hi-fi setups that do not have enough inputs. This item is the perfect solution for adding scalability to nearly any hi-fi stereo system. I really appreciate the ability to set all inputs to the same (or very similar) levels thus mitigating immediate loud/soft level changes when switching to different sources. I actually leave all sources on and simply use one at a time. Not much heat is generated with this unit - another plus. It's quiet and doesn't color the sound.. Great rackmount mixer
I have a complex keyboard setup for live performance that includes sounds from rack modules along with computer DAW based VST sounds.
