The right bang for the buck in my humble opinion.
Excellent for the money. I've played on and off for years and still am likely an "average" non pro musician. This guitar in my opinion is a nice action, easy to play guitar. It has a nice sound overall, and if you spent a lot more money yes you could do better. For the same money you could do much worse. I'd do it again, mostly for the onboard tuner and the nice factory set action. I didn't have to shave the nut or the bridge on this guitar, very comfortable action with no buzz.Excellent for the money. This is a beautiful guitar. Have been playing for 45 years and never played a Gretsch! Wish I had, would have bought one long ago. Played it on open mic night the day it arrived. Remarkable sound. Unique to Gretsch. Love it

This guitar is very awesome but it did need some tweaking! I had to lower the saddle 1/8 th of an inch and replace the strings with Elixir Nanoweb! Note to Gretsch, put better strings on this and probably all your instruments!
