After carefully checking all of the steps of ensuring that the assembly was properly installed correctly the last step I was unable to get the screws to make contact with the board I cracked the board trying to make contact and I found out after hours of frustration that the tread for the screws was placed upside down in the board so it was assembled incorrectly from the manufacturer
