    Great sound - great 4k picture - bad manufacture service response.

    As others have noted, this model setup is not for the novice or faint of heart. I am quite good with electronics and this machine really tested my skills ! I did however finally get it done. You need to consult the manual quite a bit. Of course, he manual does not come with the instrument, It hs to be downloaded from the manufactures website. I have had to consult with Denon about one problem I can not solve and they are NOT very good at returning a service request. The off button on the remote (or the set) will not shut off the power to the sub-woofer so I have to either disconnect the cable from the amp or shut off the sub (I bought a Polk 10" new) . I tired email AND calling...no return email or call back for a week. Tried calling back and got disconnected...... terrible service.

    Good sound, not very user friendly.

    I expected a little better quality. The system has good sound once its been set up but, the settings don't seem very easy to customize. The remote is NOT universal and very "cheesy" in my opinion. I don't think the picture quality improves when using the enhanced option. The internet radio is very cool though. It is Not HD radio though that I can find.. The stereo receiver is ok.

    Good deal, great sound

    If you plan to just plug and play, this won’t be as easy as you think. I have a lot of experience with audio equipment but didn’t have such an easy time setting this system up. Be patient and go through each setting for each component you are using or you won’t get the sound quality you are expecting. Once it is set up it is pretty good for the price. I would definitely recommend this receiver for anyone looking for a crisp clear sounding system for their home audio. You won’t be disappointed.

    Denon is da BOMB!!! Great sound...excellent features + integration with the other systems in our home.

    We needed a wireless system for our home and chose Denon's proprietary network. There are many good systems. We felt Denon's offered us the best from a cost/benefit pint of view. Compatible with Spotify; Google Home; tons of Internet radio stations...some folks complained of difficulty setting up and it did present a few stumbles, but that's 'cause I didn't read instructions thoroughly...once i did and looked at a few FAQs everything went swimmingly...the sound of the speakers is phenomonal -- but we mostly listen to MP3s and we're not audiophiles...still compared to other speakers the Denon 7's are top shelf...the receiver itself can handle a LOT of inputs and has 7 channels for surround...we're still graduating from only the TV's speakers...we prolly could have gone with a no-name ...

    Overall strong performer for music and video

    Setup is straight forward and items are where you can find them. Surround setup via mic is fairly accurate and again easy to tweak if need be. Sound is excellent and modes do a nice job of creating environments. HDMI and other connections are plentiful and work as they should. Power is adequate, for typical use and volume levels. Runs pretty cool as well. Overall very satisfied.
