Don't settle for the cheaper brands
I tried to skimp and purchased no name brand battery case was sorely disappointed the unit would come loose and cause the battery to charge in intervals . I decided it was Worth the money to pay for the mophie brand than to blow a battery in your phone! I like the switch feature of only charging with the case when I choose too and not accidentally Turning it on just picking the unit up. The unit is a bit bulky but I am okay with that. I like the Matte finish and rubberized feel less easy to slip out of my hands. I have an old iPhone 6 which I plan to hang onto for a while. I needed more battery life so I bought this Mophie. I have used a Mophie before as well as the OEM Battery pack from Apple. Neither of them hold up very well. They tend to fall apart sooner than later, But since the price has come down on battery packs for older phones, I thought I would get one. Unfortunately this one did not come with a wall or car charger so I will now have to order those parts as well. FYI it also adds a lot of weight to the phone. No more stress!
Few purchases have provided such relief. I used to be constantly worried about my phone dying and my charging port was starting to wear out. Now I don't have to think about it at all. I can run all day with the extra battery and still be at 95% phone charge when I get home from work. Highly recommended!
