    Great product, great purchase, great value for money.

    This laptop Parallel ATA hard drive came in an anti-static packaging, giving peace of mind that it was not damaged on arrival (DOA). In addition, it was the most easiest of laptop components to fit and install in its bay, with just four mounting screws to its sides that hold the bracket in place. Windows 7 Operating System detected it straightaway and the OS installed without any problems or requiring pre-formatting. I was ammazed at the its low noise or near silent operation. I have similar experience of other Western Digital drives, but this was the first time I had used their Scorpio Blue 60 GB drive. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase (it replaces the current factory-fitted 30 GB in my IBM ThinkPad) and would not hesitate to buy it again, although the next one would ...
