    Of course I couldn’t find some of my crystals in this book however it does have a lot of information for the crystals it does have. I love the fact that the book is small easy to take with anywhere. I will in the future be purchasing the second and third one to add to my collection.

    The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall (2003)

    This is a great intoductory book. It is so easy to reference a particular crystal. I love the size and the pages are thicker than most books. The pictures are real photos, not a drawing or sketch. Well written, well layed out. I wish the author would have information about how to clear and cleanse each crystal. Some crystls cannot be placed in sea salt water and some can. Being a beginner collector I don't have this knowlege. I rate this book an A- only because of the lack of info about the care and cleaning/clearing of crystals. Excellent book otherwise.

    From the author of The Encyclopedia of Crystals

    For anyone who loves crystals for their beauty, their healing, or their magic The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall is a wealth of concise, easy to use information. Ms Hall has written many tomes on crystals and this one is a real gem (pun probably intended). It contains an alphabetical listing of hundreds of crystals, beautiful photos of the stones in their natural, tumbled, and faceted states for ease of identification. She also includes information on availability, location, healing and mystical properties. The book is the perfect size to slip into a jacket pocket or a pack when you're out looking for crystals in their natural habitats and is one of my favourite research resources.

    Thorough. Excellent for beginners.

    I believe that this book is one of the must-haves for quick referencing. As mentioned in other reviews, it is a bit oversimplified, however, with the size of the book that is to be expected. Nonetheless, the text is concise and thorough. The photographs are most helpful for the purpose of identification. It is an excellent book to have especially for those who are being introduced to crystal healing. For each crystal the pages contain the attributes of the crystal, healing properties at each of the different levels (psychologically, mentally, emotionally), the healing properties, and best placement and position for the stones. The pages also reference the physical attributes: color, appearance, rarity, and from which countries the stones are primarily located or mined. There are other ...

    Wonderful

    This Crystal Bible book by Judy Hall is very informative and the most easy to read book that I've purchased so far. There are pictures of stones along with their meanings and many uses. She also color coded the pages like a bookmark to all crystal. I always carry this book with me in my purse to my local crystal shop. Also I understand how some people feel about the book not having the stone they are looking for, but please everyone keep an open mind, that there are tons and tons of stones on this planet and she (Judy Hall) is doing her dearest to jot down as many of the information that she possibly can so please be mindful.
