Item was listed as open box (excellent, new condition with no wear), however, the floor lamp I received had been put together, only taken apart enough to fit in box and there were some scratches and a stripped screw. Ordered a lot from this seller and this has been the only item that came not as described. It was suppose to be new but was an open box with some (not original) tape on it and missing a piece. But we made it work, so I didn’t contact the seller. Every other order I have gotten from them has been great. All ship fast and prices are very good. Will definitely order again. I think they likely had an open box item and a new one and I was sent the open box instead of the new one accidentally.

It could just be the way I installed it but who knows 🤷. I have had other gates before and still have one of them. I spent more money on those. One of the more expensive ones I bought is also from Regalo ( love this one). Anyway, the problem I am having with this one is the constant readjusting to get it to close. I might not be the best at putting things together, but I didn't have a problem with the more expensive gates so I guess you get what you pay for. It was also a pain putting it together. I bought this to keep my 3 year autistic son from escaping after he got out of my apartment. That was scary!!! I didn't care that it's meant for stairs. Wasn't planning on needing to buy another gate so I didn't want to spend that much. Big mistake 🤦. Oh and I was in such a rush to buy a gate ... If you can't afford a more expensive gate, this one is okay. It does the job, but you might have to keep readjusting it so it closes.
