About this product

Product Information

Hapless preteen Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) endures bullies, swirlies, morons, and wedgies while navigating the treacherous world of middle school and recording his traumas in his personal journal in this family-oriented comedy inspired by author Jeff Kinney's best-selling series of illustrated novels. Try as he might, Greg just can't understand who thought it was a good idea to place kids who haven't even hit their first growth spurt in the same school as kids who get a five-o’clock shadow by lunch time. Realizing that he'll have to get creative if he hopes to survive until high school, Greg concocts a series of get-cool-quick schemes that all go hopelessly awry. Despite the fact that he's viewed as a dork by his peers, Greg never loses hope that someday, when all is said and done, he'll be able to look back on his middle school experiences and laugh. Steve Zahn and Rachael Harris co-star in this comedy from HOTEL FOR DOGS director Thor Freudenthal.

Item was just as described. I kept getting messages from postal service that there was an issue with my package, but I finally received it. This was not the fault of the sender they did a great job getting it sent quickly.

  • Good Preteen Movie

Diary of a Wimpy Kid stars Zachary Gordon as Greg Heffley and is based on the popular book by Jeff Kinney. In this movie, Greg is headed off to middle school for his first year and has big plans and expectations, only he finds out quickly that life does not always allow your plans to happen the way you want them to. The Diary is all about the trials and tribulations that Greg faces as he lives out that first year in the middle school. The movie is based for a pre-teen audience and it would appeal to any boy between the ages of 7 to 11. Older boys may find it somewhat entertaining. This is a good movie for a parent to sit and enjoy with a child.

  • Good Family Movie

Purchased this movie for a 9 year old who just loves it! It's a great movie for kids - adults will enjoy it also, brings back childhood memories. Recommend highly.

  • DIARY OF A WIMPY KID BLU-RAY/DVD

This storyline is quite appealing to my boys ages 9-12. They have read all the books and enjoy seeing them come to life in this movie. The situations the main character finds himself in are easy to relate to as a kid.

  • Good family film

Great family film.. kids 7 & 8 love it.. and keeps mom and dad entertained as well.. will buy all of them.
